The laser reaches far and really bright has levels on it for accurate leveling. The tape measure thats built in is just topping on the cake. You can also remove off the tripod to use as a 6 in. ruler to draw a small neat line if needed.

I like the fact that it fits in my pocket easily. It was very easy to use, I use it to measure and mark lines on my ceiling that I was repairing. It worked perfectly.

I bought this laser tool at a decent price to use for leveling pictures around the house. It has a magnetic base that I attached to the wall with a 3M strip. It has a line laser and dot laser to project on the wall. I've enjoyed using the tool as I can set it in one place on the wall and hang multiple pictures level.

Works well for my carpenter's needs. I mostly use the laser beam.
