I liked these right when I opened the box. They are very heavy duty and feel sturdy in your hand. They fit your hand perfectly. They open to about 6 inches and are almost 10 inches long. My favorite thing about them is that they are spring loaded and it is enclosed. which makes them easy to clean. It has a well made clasp that holds them closed at the handle. I have only hand washed them as of right now. I have used them on chicken bones and joint spots on racks of ribs. They have made cutting up meat much easier. As a bonus you get a nice silicone brush with them.

Very pleased from the minute I even saw how beautifully they were packaged, and that was before I even took them out of the pretty box. I was concerned they would open up too wide for me to put my hand around and get a good grip in order to adequately cut, but they are not. Although I’ve used them already on a couple of hard to cut things, I have yet to use them for what they actually intended. But I have no doubt they will snip right through a poultry bone with the greatest of ease.

The poultry scissors were impressive. Has a very sturdy feel when using. My only challenge is when using the grove in the blade on the back of the shears, it requires a wide grip in order to use them especially when cutting thru bone. When your hands are wet, it is more of a challenge. Maybe a bit of texturing on the handles would help. Just a suggestion. JR

Great addition to my kitchen tools..I am retired and major cook for my family and need the best to perform.. I cutup alot of my mest and poultry and these are sturdy as well have s good gripe.. eady cleaning.. highly recommend and will purchase again

does what it is supposed to do. i have arthritis, so a wider handle would have felt better...i just made my husband do the cutting...

These shears were much studier then I anticipated. They work great, they are easy to clean and I love that they clip closed. The brush was a nice added feature. I love having a designated pair of shears for poultry that look different so the rest of the house doesn't use them for everyday use!
