Got one for another set of grandparents and they so appreciated doing this with their grandson. We ordered two more for us - one for we-the grandma and grandpa:) and one for our grandchildren's house - a 4 and 2 year old - boy oh boy did they have fun making these DIY trees. Highly recommend them and my DIL runs a daycare facility and asked for the link thinking it might be a great idea for the kids at the preschool. I bought this tree hoping my youngest grandchildren would put on and take off its ornaments instead of messing with my real tree. The kids love it. The tree is bigger than I expected and the ornaments are just right for little hands. I hand stitched battery operated fairy lights on it so it would light up.

The tree itself isn’t very flat due to being folded in the packaging. The Velcro for the ornaments works great and the variety of the “ornaments” is nice. My 3 and 5 year old did the activity really quickly, and although they enjoyed it, might be suitable for an even younger age group
