These are comfortable and definitely have that square sunglasses shape when work. I like them because my hair is fine and thin and with a regular headband with teeth, I get too much texture in the front. With these, its subtle and shows off my curls with a great shape.

At first try-on, I wasn't so sure about the fit and function. The band practically disappeared in my hair and it didn't appear to be a very secure fit (compared to tighter fitting headbands with teeth). However, despite my initial reaction, I promised myself I'd wear it for a full day to give it a proper chance to perform. By the end of day #1, this headband exceeded my expectations! Yes, it disappears in one's hair - and it still holds things in place while looking good - and that is the brilliance of this product. So once you get over the fact that it doesn't (and will never) feel like your typical headband from Claire's you really start to appreciate how great this band is.
