The Exodus spray paint gun. Competitive performance. Intimate painter compatibility.
If you’re looking for an affordable spray paint gun that delivers professional-level results, then the EXODUS is the budget spray gun for you!
The EXODUS spray paint gun is available in a simplified system of color coat (silver air cap / 1.3 needle) and clear coat (black air cap / 1.5 needle) with HVLP or OP (Optimized Pressure) technology.
1.5 needle size?!? Don’t let that scare you, our 1.5 OP clear gun sprays are very similar to other 1.3 reduced pressure/high transfer efficiency spray paint guns within the industry.
Optimized Pressure (OP) technology is the recommended option for the EXODUS spray paint guns.
Made in Japan.
The Exodus OP models have the ability to achieve a micro fine particle size of 17 microns (µm) approximate. This is accomplished with large volumes of air provided by the Exodus’ Optimized Pressure air chamber. Refined atomization benefits the user by allowing for more control over color coats, blends, metallic, pearl coats and clear coat finishes.
The Exodus OP Clear Coat 1.5 provides an incredibly competitive spray pattern in both height and width against other leading brands within the industry. The Exodus series offers these features while also being one of the smallest in profile and lightweight full size spray guns available.

This is an absolutely essential addition to any spray paint project. I tried to save money on my first project and did all my spray painting by hand. Most of my projects were small such as painting a 10 inc vase or the bottom of a Mason jar. Small projects like these, especially if it's your first time spray painting can seem easy enough and you can do it by hand, but you won't notice the difference in comfort as well as evenness till you switch to a paint gun. When this arrived, I was very excited to see if there is much of a difference between hand-spray painted and gun-spray painted work. The last picture shows the un-evenness that can result from hand spray painting (a little of this is also inexperience spray painting). It took more force that I was able to get the Rust-Oleum Vintage Copper into the gun, so I had to ask for help. After a little experimentation, I found that the easiest way to get it into the gun is to place the can of paint, nozzle facing away from you on the ground (lay the can length-wise, not upright), put you foot against it to prevent is from rolling off, and then take the gun, only holding the black portion and press it into the nozzle head. With a little click, it should go it without too much force. It might take a few tries to get used to it, but it comes easily after. I recently had a friend over for some DIYing, he hates spray painting as it hurts his hand, but after trying my spray paint gun, he really ended up enjoying the process. I've switched spray paints over ten times now and the gun contraption has not loosened or broken. Overall, this is great for getting an even coat on your spray paint projects, and requires much less effort and elbow grease. Even if you are starting with a small project, this investment is well worth it for you fingers! I'm very happy with this paint gun and recommend it highly. Happy DIYing!
As someone with Myositis, which is a muscle wasting disease. This product is brilliant. My fingers don't have the strength they use to, and Gun Aerosol gave me back a small portion of my life. I can now use it for aerosol cans of Lysol, furniture polish, etc. I can even use it on hairspray, and deodorant. Instead of trying to push down on a tiny top, I just hardly touch the Gun Aerosol grip, and it works. It's easy pain free and has brought back a bit of independence.
Used this when repainting a set of wheels I refinished. Clips on easily. Saved me from getting paint on my fingers and made all the coats almost effortless. Only thing I could comment on is that sometimes the can itself would rotate, causing the nozzle to be off center of the opening. But this is easily noticed and fixed with a simple turn of the can. Definitely recommend!
Cheap and easy to use! No more cramped fingers! This is really great! I always use this whenever I'm spray painting a large project. My fingers use to cramp up like crazy but never again! I bought this back in 2011 and I'm still using it till this day. It's been 9 years guys. It's fantastic. You just snap it onto your spray can and snap it off onto another spray can. I'll admit at the beginning I was scare to snap it on and off. It's still just cheap plastic and I was really scared of breaking the thing. Once you get over that though and realize it's actually pretty study it's fine. You actually get better control of spraying also since you can maneuver the can around easier with much better grip. Your grip and maneuverability always suffers as your fingers start getting tired and crampy from longer bouts of spray painting (or if the trigger/nozzle is super small or tight as some cans tend to be based on the brands). I can never go back to spray painting the old fashioned way without this gadget.
Wow, can't believe I never saw this before! I am not a professional painter, but this little gizmo is worth its weight in gold! It is so hard to hold the can and shake/swirl it for good coverage with just your hand, and then the nozzle - your finger pretty begs for a break. Well, this little contraption solves both problems. Easy to snap on, and easy to use. I've bought two (cause I expected one to break), but don't think I will need the 2nd, as the first seems to be holding up well after several cans of spray paint.
This thing is fantastic, om new to plastic model kits and this thing is great! My thumbs would get sore when using rattle cans for other projects in the past. Those were one offs tho so I never paid it much attention. Now that I'm in a hobby where I will be using rattle cans much more frequently I thought this would be a good idea. It absolutely is, it's fantastic to apply base costs, color costs and top coats with and is much more comfortable than spraying normally. My only gripe is that brand new. The unit is a little stiff to push a new can into but I guess that's a good thing too. Love it, buy it, you won't regret it.
I can't say enough about this device...pure genius. An incredible value, too! The design allows you to spray with ease and absolutely NO finger fatigue because you use all your fingers in a gentle squeezing motion. This allows you to spray for longer periods of time, which in turn results in a more even spray. As one reviewer mentions, it is easiest to put the "gun" on the can by putting the can face down on a surface that won't move (like the ground or floor) and pushing the "gun" straight down where indicated onto the neck of the can. It's a wonderful invention and a MUST for anyone who spray paints!
It works very well, I wanted to paint the rear fender on my motorcycle and didn't want to purchase an air compressor with a filter and all that. I went with rustoleum cans and this spray tool helps immensely. It allows you to get a full spray across whatever distance without spotting due to the little nozzle slipping. Great product.
This thing really does help you get better results when using rattle can spray paint. Gives better control so you can concentrate on getting an even coat and the right coverage. Helps you 'trigger' the paint can as if it was a paint gun. A professional automotive painter I know recommended one of these (much to my surprise) and he was right. A little side bennie is that it makes for less chance of getting the paint on your fingers. I'd definitely recommend for anyone who uses canned spray paint on more than a once or twice basis.
Where has this gadget been all my life? This spray can gun makers every spray can super easy to use. Everything I paint now comes out evenly coated and professional looking because the gun helps even out the pressure on the spray nozzle. Bigger paint jobs are not as daunting with the spray gun because it's not as tiring to squeeze the trigger as it is to hold the can and press the nozzle at the same time. Long story short, buy this simple spray gun - you won't regret it!
I needed this product to help spray paint a very old back yard bench. The ordering process was easy and I received it within a few days. I used it today with Rustoleum 2x spray paint. Once on the can, the Can Gun painting experience was wonderful. I was able to hold the trigger continuously to put on an almost a full coat of blue paint and use up the entire can. The only minor glitch was some difficulty clicking the sprayer onto the Rustoleum can. The spray nozzle kept popping off the can. So my fix was to remove the nozzle, click the gun in place, then put the nozzle back on the can. A minor annoyance but worth the excellent painting experience.

For the price this can not be beat! I used this with plasti dip to cover some chrome on my car, makes me feel like a pro!! I felt like laying down even coats has never been so easy. The device is a simple design but very functional and works with many different cans. I will definitely be using and referring this item in the future. Great item! It fits on the can from the back and snaps on to let you know its in place. Check the nozzle and spin the can to line it forward correctly. The full hand trigger prevents any tiring of the hand or forearm like when spraying the can with out the spray gun. Any one who tells me about a project where they will be spray painting I will be asking if they already own one of these.
I bought his Gun Aerosol along with a couple of cans of Plasti-Dip for a painting project of mine. I had my doubts about the effectivness of this can, but sure enough it proved quite useful! It easily fit any spray can I put inside it and it just takes a snap to release the Gun Aerosol from the spray can. You may have to nudge it onto the can, but once it is locked on, it is ready to go. Just aim and apply your coating in swift and simple motions. Finished with your can? Just remove the Gun Aerosol and equip another batch of spray. It really helped me with my car painting project and proved to be very useful in future projects I have done. I highly recommend this product due to its very awesome price and its effectiveness. This is a must have for your next painting project, unless of course you own a special sprayer yourself. Whatever the case, this is a very useful item for DIY projects!
I have arthritis in my hands and can't press down on spray cans; let alone for any extended period of time. The is exactly what I needed. I was afraid it might be too light weight (it's 100% plastic) but it held up with no problem. But keep in mind, I've only used it once.
What a difference this makes. We have used for various projects and it works perfectly. We have used it one several different brands of spray paint and it works well with all so far. It seems to help with even coating and also eliminates finger fatigue when you have a project that takes multiple cans of spray paint. We actually bought a second one in a retail store.
This handle works with the old style and the new style spray cans. It gives you so much more control over the output of the paint. I do not know how many on and off cycles it will handle though. It feels like it will loosen up after maybe 50 times, but for the price, I would just buy another one.
I plastidipped the bejesus out of my rims and this nozzle it’s very necessary to get and even spray and, in the end, an overall perfectly sprayed, smooth surface. I would definitely buy another one if I ever do plastidip again and something would happen to this one. Also, I continuously took it on and off of cans and it never broke or failed to function on me.
Everyone needs one of these. If you ever planned a spray paint anything, you need one! My finger always hurts from holding down the trigger on spray paint bottles. This is so easy to use and after using six spray paint bottles, my hand doesn't hurt at all! Great gift!!
